Arts and crafts

OSCARI have been involved, over the last six months, delivering the Shakespeare project, social action projects producing an eight foot mural of the Riddings windmills. Three members of Youth Spirit where involved in co-designing the Often Arts festival. And seven local young people achieved bronze arts awards.

Community outreach

OSCARI are currently devising a new outreach project, working with local young people, who want to make a difference in their community. By visiting older residents who may be suffering from loneliness and isolation, we hope to build relationships between generations. If you know anyone who may benefit from this project please let us know.

There's lots going on

A group of young people coming together to have fun, be creative and address their concerns about where they live, by getting involved in community action.

So far we have been involved in several projects including Act 4 Change, Ofton Festival and 7 bronze arts awards. We are looking forward to working on the Heritage Project

A fun and creative social group, for all ages to share and learn skills whilst making new friends.

Come along to make something creative, or just have a cuppa and a chat.

As this group finishes as the lunch group begins, why not stay for a meal with friends?

OSCARI believes that we can all make a difference. And this will only happen when local people commit their energy into the place where they live. If you would like to become part of this difference and join the OSCARI community then please give us a shout.
